A new system can underperform its own rating if sizing and line set details aren't handled correctly. Every quote includes a real cooling load assessment before equipment is selected.
New AC installs miss their rated SEER2 efficiency more often than people realize, usually from oversizing or a mismatched line set. Equipment gets sized to the actual cooling load, and line sets follow manufacturer spec, not the shortest path.
What we don't cut corners on.
Tonnage recommendations come from an actual load calculation, not a rule of thumb.
Multiple efficiency options are available to fit different budgets.
The installation itself is warrantied in writing.
Line sets follow manufacturer specification, not the shortest physical route, since a bad run quietly kills efficiency.
From load calculation to startup commissioning.
We assess insulation, window exposure, and orientation to calculate correct tonnage, not a generic estimate.
SEER2 ratings get explained in plain terms so the decision is based on real numbers, not marketing language.
We follow the spec, avoiding efficiency losses from a poor run.
Units get placed away from heat traps and debris for airflow and noise, not just wherever's convenient.
Charge, airflow, and temperature split all get verified after install, not just assumed correct.
Old systems get removed and disposed of properly, refrigerant recovered per EPA regulation.
What to expect on an install project.
We book an in-person cooling load assessment, since accurate sizing can't be done by phone.
Assessment tools arrive on-site for a direct evaluation.
The quote includes several SEER2 efficiency tiers based on your actual load numbers.
We install, verify performance, and back the work in writing.
Recent reviews from new system installs.
Compared quotes from four companies before deciding. This was the only one that showed me actual Manual J numbers instead of a flat price sheet.

We wanted the quietest unit available since our bedroom windows face the side yard where it sits. They steered us toward a model rated specifically for noise.
— I. Adeyinka, homeowner
Had a mini-split installed in a converted garage that never had ductwork. Clean install, didn't have to cut into any walls we cared about.
— C. Bergstrom, homeowner
Installed new rooftop units at two of our retail locations within the same week. Consistent process and pricing at both sites.

What people ask before installing.
A proper on-site calculation is the only reliable way to size correctly.
Whether it pays off depends on a few factors we cover at quote time.
Most residential installs finish in a single day, longer for complex line runs.
Handled on our end, to EPA standard.
Yes, both ducted and ductless options are available, chosen based on the property.
If something about how the unit was put in causes a problem down the line, that's on us to fix at no charge, on top of whatever the manufacturer covers on the equipment itself.
Our coverage spans Bigelow and nearby zips shown here — call to schedule.
